Under the direction of the VP of Sales and Client Acquisition, the Director of Sales will be responsible for selling Merchant partners on the RSSCheck.com TransactionalRSS (TRSS) Publishing System and leveraging ShoppeSimple.com’s Consumer Portal for new consumer acquisition.

Through aggressive phone and email outreach, the Director will be responsible for generating new sales leads in addition to converting leads into new clients.​

The benefit for the new merchant partner is to both help them grow a new online TRSS marketing channel and a new opt-in permission-based TRSS consumer Social Media database. ​

Responsibilities:

§  Meet or exceed all sales targets.

§  Analyze markets for new business opportunities, generate leads, cold call, leverage your current sales contacts and create new partnerships for the ShoppeSimple Network.

§  Close new partners and continue to sell new TRSS solutions into existing merchant partnerships.

§  Ability to formulate and present sales presentations electronically through Go2Meetings and voice teleconferencing.

§  Know and understand the full capabilities of the RSSCheck and ShoppeSimple business models and educate partners to use the tools available to them through the software.​

§  Stay on top of RSSCheck/ShoppeSimple competitive landscape and work to maintain our top rated position.​

Required Skills and Experience:

§  Sales Experience, Online Ad Sales Experience Preferred, Ability to work leads through close by applying persistent follow up.

§  A proven track record of success in a consultative selling environment.​

§  Experience in selling marketing or advertising solutions, preferably in the internet, e-commerce or mobile commerce space.
